Dear Brothers and Sisters of ECCC,

親愛的弟兄姐妹們，

Recently there have been a number of Chinese people who do not reside in Eugene requesting to join our FB group page. With investigation we found that they are a cult and are trying to lure Christians online to listen to their teachings through meetings via Skype or Messenger.

近來有一些不住在尤金的華人試圖加入我們教會的臉書群組。經過調查後發現他們是異端，專門在臉書上引誘基督徒透過 Skype 和 Messenger 去聽他們的異端教導。

Their false teachings include:

  1. 1. God is always doing new things, so we should not stick to what happened as recorded in the Bible and should be opened to receive things we have never seen before.
  2. 2. Parts of the Bible were recorded words of human beings, and are therefore not considered the word of God. Since God does new things all the time, there is no need to resort to the Bible as our authority.
  3. 3. When Jesus comes again, he will come as an inconspicuous human being and will not perform any miracles. We need to identify him through his new teachings.
  4. 4. Anyone who does not receive the new teachings and new work of God cannot enjoy God’s presence and blessings.

他們的異端教導包含以下：

  1. 上帝是做新事的神，所以我們不要拘泥於聖經裡的話。要開放接受沒看過的，上帝新的作為。
  2. 聖經裡面有很大部分是人說的話，所以不是上帝的話。既然上帝常做新事，我們不需要以聖經為權威基礎。
  3. 耶穌再來的時候會隱秘的來，所以他會是一個普通人，也不會有神跡奇事，我們要透過他的教導來認出他。
  4. 任何不接受新工作的人根本沒有神的同在，得不到祝福和保守。
The Leadership Team wants to advise brothers and sisters not to add anyone you don’t know via Facebook or other platforms. If anyone you don’t know invites you to listen to any online sermon, do discern what you are hearing and talk to your group leaders if you have any questions/concerns.
領導同工團隊建議大家不要在臉書或其他平台加不認識的人。如果有不認識的人邀請你在線上聽講道，請提高警覺。如果有任何疑問，請向你的小組長提出。

Announcement 3/13/2020

Dear Brothers and Sisters,

親愛的弟兄姐妹們，

Following the recommendations of various health authorities, and following the lead of the local Eugene school district 4J which has cancelled school for the next two weeks, we have decided to temporarily suspend all in-person church services and activities at the Eugene Chinese Christian Church, starting immediately. We will continue to prepare and provide Sunday messages, which we will video stream live Sunday mornings at 10:30am the church’s Facebook page. Please join us then! Some Bible study groups will continue to meet online (contact your group leader), and as always, we will continue to encourage and pray for each other. Please continue to share your needs with the church leadership!

根據各方衛生組織的建議，尤金公立學校已經決定停課兩周。教會也決定從善如流，即日起暫停主日崇拜和其他聚會。我們仍然會繼續預備主日證道，讓弟兄姐妹在網上聚會。每主日早上10:30 在教會臉書群組上現場直播。歡迎弟兄姐妹參加。一些查經小組會用網路會議的方式進行查經（詳情請向小組長查詢）。讓我們繼續彼此代禱，彼此鼓勵。若您需要任何幫助，請聯絡領導同工們。

Brothers and sisters, what a wonderful fellowship we have, and we praise God that he provided such a group of believers in these circumstances! What a blessing that God has prepared such a rich provision for us, and such unity of love at just this time!

弟兄姐妹們，讓我們一起讚美主賜給我們如此美好的團契生活。在疫情肆虐的情況下，仍然有彼此的幫助和關心。感謝上帝豐富的預備，讓我們在此刻能享受合一的愛。

ECCC sanitary code

Dear brothers and sisters of ECCC,
親愛的雨津弟兄姐妹們，

In order to protect the health of our spiritual family, we ask that you adhere to the following sanitary code:
為了保護教會弟兄姐妹的健康，在疫情期間請遵守下列衛生規定：

1. If you are experiencing any flu like symptoms including coughs, fevers, muscle aches, and/or difficulty breathing, please refrain from coming to church until all the symptoms are gone. You are welcome to update your conditions with your group leaders so we can keep you in prayer.
若您有類似感冒的症狀，包括咳嗽，發燒，肌肉酸痛，呼吸困難等，請務必停止聚會，在家休息，直到完全康復為止。弟兄姐妹們將十分樂意在禱告中紀念您，請跟您的小組長保持聯絡，隨時更新情況，以便大家在靈裡彼此交通支持。

2. As you enter church, please use plenty of hand sanitizer and avoid touching your face with unwashed hands.
進入教會時，請使用洗手液清潔雙手，並且避免觸碰臉部。

3. Refrain from shaking hands with one another. Instead, use creative ways to greet one other, such as elbow bump, shoe tip bump etc.
暫時不要握手，而改用其他創意方式彼此問安，比如碰手肘，碰鞋尖等。
